It’s been a good month out at Saas-Fee I was there up until the 15th August with JT Freeski and The National Academy, really pleased that in my last week there I landed the Switch dub 10. Camp was awesome, trained hard but had lots of fun too!

After a week of being back home and off snow, I had my first dryslope competition at Stoke Ski Centre it was called Overstoke. Skied for most of the 8 hours in scorching heat, followed by rain storms. Great atmosphere and sick day, stoked to get Skier of the Day! Laid down some corks, back flips, rodeos and learnt a few new tricks on rails and pipes. Also work on a new combination for the kicker.

Had a little down injury time after hurting my hip, Ian Findlay sorted a session with Function Jigsaw which was really useful and good to know hip is OK.

Spent this past weekend at down at Norfolk for The Farmers Jam, a little windy and cold this year. The wind was not great on the kicker, so slowed things down a little in the morning time for warm up and for the Slopestyle Jam, I got a 2 handed hand plant front flip over the barrels and a front flip over the car at the bottom of the slope and a few sick rails tricks in the Jam. Luckily the wind died down for the Big Air qualifications and I made the final 4 in the U16s, the final consisted of 4 runs and best 2 counted, happy to get my cork 9 laid down. Later in the dark we had a floodlit prize giving outside, stoked to get 1st U16’s Slopestyle and then get 2nd U16’s Big Air. Sick competition and some insane tricks going down. Looking forward to next year. Sunday was a much better day with the sun shining, the wind almost gone time for some hand drag 5’s, back flips, corks. The day was all about having fun and a few spot prizes.

Now I am looking forward to maybe Gloucester on 26th September, I have an awards evening 24th September, Get some dome training in and the Indoor Brits 10th October and my own Charity Jam on October 17th at Stoke Ski Centre The Rob George Charity Jam 3-6pm £20 entry, online booking is open. Also just finishing off an edit for BGS.
